Midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed that his former club Inter Milan denied him the opportunity to speak to Manchester United about a potential move.
Sneijder has been frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past two years but no move ever materialised, and the Dutch international has revealed that it was purely the club's decision.
Sneijder told Fanatik: "Manchester United had offered €20m for me and the club rejected it.
"I wanted to go to United but Inter didn't let me."
The 28-year-old has since moved to Turkish club Galatasaray.
